Stonham - Bass Characters

It's all about character.

At Stonham, people have relied on us for many years as a leading provider of housing and support for vulnerable and socially excluded people.

Right now we're facing a brand new challenge, to manage an accommodation and support service to people who have been bailed or released on Home Detention Curfew (BASS).

This government funded scheme provides private rented accommodation in the community to defendants and released offenders who are otherwise without an acceptable address, or do not have enough support to live independently. Our staff will provide that support. Through arranged client visits we will help each person to draw up and fulfil an action plan. We will help them to maintain their bail or HDC conditions, keep appointments, access any specialist assistance they may need and find a home to move to at the end of their bail or HDC period.

Success will be tough - but it could also offer you the opportunity you've been searching for. It will take resilience, empathy, determination, strength of character, and the kind of real-world life skills that can really make a difference in a demanding working environment.
